Gigla Baramidze: Turkish constitutional referendum will inevitably lead to change in Georgian-Turkish relations.
In his briefing at Press Club ‘Reportiori’, the Political Secretary of the ‘United Democratic Movement’ Gigla Baramidze made a comment regarding Turkish constitutional referendum and stated that its outcome will inevitably affect Georgian-Turkish relations. “Turkish constitutional referendum will have an effect on our relations, either directly, or indirectly. Of course we are not going to meddle in Turkish internal affairs, but our main priority is the continuation of 1992 Treaty of Friendship and internal stability of Turkey.”
“I would like to tell you that Turkish constitutional referendum seriously polarised Turkish society.”
